Hello all IES members,
We are happy to announce the next IES seminar, to be given by Prof. Robert Jackson, chair in tree pathology and deputy head of School of Biosciences, University of Birmingham. From Prof. Jackson’s website:
Professor Rob Jackson is an expert in bacteria-plant interactions, making major contributions to the understanding of how pathogens cause disease and how pathogens evolve to evade host immunity. He also has interests in applied biology questions relating to biocontrol approaches to treat plant diseases. Prof. Jackson is also involved in the University of Birmingham’s committment to addressing issues of climate change.
Prof. Jackson’s talk will be tailored towards a broad audience, while diving more in depth is some topics.
We strongly urge all students, staff and faculty to attend this special seminar.
